Michael Beckwith

Michael Beckwith is a New Thought minister, and founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, California, a New Thought church with a congregation estimated in excess of 8,000 members.Beckwith was ordained in Religious Science in 1985.

Media appearances

Beckwith is a leader in the New Thought Movement, and was featured in the documentary The Secret.Beckwith has been an occasional guest on Larry King Live, and The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Beckwith has participated with the Dalai Lama and other New Thought ministers, such as Mary Manin Morrissey, in The Synthesis Dialogues.Beckwith also appeared in Dalai Lama Renaissance, a feature length documentary about the Dalai Lama, narrated by Harrison Ford.

In March of 2007, Beckwith with partners, Bob Proctor and Jack Canfield, launched The Science of Getting Rich Seminar (SGR Program). After the official launch of the program, Beckwith was removed from the marketing material due to the perceived commercial nature of the program.However, his audio content remains part of the program. After some changes, Beckwith, is now again a Part of The SGR-Program.

Personal life

Beckwith is married to Ricki Byars-Beckwith, a singer, composer, and leader of Agape International Spiritual Center choir. Their marriage ceremony was performed by Mary Manin Morrissey.
